Angela Van was born in Hong Kong and began ballet at the age of 5 at the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet.  After graduating from school, she went on to study classical ballet at the Hong Kong Academy of Ballet full-time. During her 2nd year of dance, she received a scholarship from the Urdang Academy of Dance in London, England.  She finished her ballet training at the Royal Ballet School in London, England.

Angela Van danced professionally with ‘The Hong Kong Dance Education’, ‘San Francisco Dance Centre’ & ‘American Festival Ballet’. She has taught full-time at the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet, Hong Kong Dance Centre and Mission Dance & Performing Arts. She is married with two children, Grace and David.
